All along I have been having IBM laptops and it is time for me to upgrade my laptop. Since we cannot effectively upgrade laptops like our desktops, I think it is time for me to go for a new laptop. Moreover, for a change I was planning to go for an Apple laptop. However, I want to make sure that I will be able to cope with Apple laptops, as there are number of differences between IBM machines and Apple Mac machines.

I also wanted make sure that Apple laptops can match the performance of IBM machines. Ideally, I am looking for something better than IBM. Since I have not experience with Apple machines I am bit anxious about investing my money in Apple machines. I have heard that most of the software products are developed keeping the IBM users in mind so I am also afraid that I may not be able to find software products that are compatible with my new Apple Mac laptop.
